Every time I jump on the internet and search around for some Holy Hip Hop, I am amazed at how much it is beginning to grow. It seems as if new artists are comin out daily, new labels, radioshows, and even sites keepin track of it all. Holy Hip Hop, not being an old concept (it was around since hip hop pretty much began) is unlike it’s secular counterpart in that it has not yet fallen off, or been broken up by money hungry corporations and just plain greedy heads only out for themselves and money. The Holy Hip Hop scene has always been pretty tight-knit, and has the potential to stay that way, both on the internet and off it.
I’d like to shout out some sites right here that keep this thing together and on point in the internet world…
HHH DB Best place on the net to get information on just about any Holy Hip Hop artist you can think of! There are guys here unmentioned anywhere else, along with some super old skool heads. Holy Culture Download Grab all the latest Holy Hip Hop releases here. Illspot HHH networking, join up and start meeting people who got the same taste in music and style as yourself. This is also a good place for HHH related news. Urban Ministry This site has it all, from albums and videos to books and even ministry opportunities/news Rapzilla HHH online magazine with tons of exclusives.
As for the rest of us, we can all help keep this thing together by comin together at shows networking and not gettin too full of ourselves as it seems most of the secular hip hop world has already become. Keep eachother in check, and don’t let it go the way the secular world has.
As a DJ I come in contact with countless artists, and managers, and I can say from first hand experience the people I meet through the tripple H community are by far the realest in the hip hop world right now, which is what has inspired me to go off on this lil inspirational rant, ha, anyways you got the picture!
Dj Pinecone
p.s. Last weeks show didn’t get recorded, there was a fire near my house that took out all the power
Somethin brand new from Mark Arthur right here, and deffinitely something you’re gunna be hearing on the show in the coming weeks. His track called Gain is just a taste of whats to come in 2009 not only from Mark Arthur but from Rock Soul Entertainment, who signed Mark Arthur late last year.
With permission from Mark Arthur, we present to you this brand new track, Gain, check it out then cruise over to his site and let him know. Mark Arthur’s Myspace (hit him up personally!) Rock Soul Entertainment
More issues with getting the show recorded last week. If you didn’t catch the show live you really missed out, the studio was packed, and we were all seeing Dj WIll off to the Marines.
He’ll be back every now and then but we really couldn’t tell ya when those times will be.
Stay strong out there Dj Will, may the Lord be with yuh at every step!
Late late late!
Don’t worry we’re still here. Had some issues with my home computer getting the shows recorded, but managed to get last weeks recorded and up for download.
And here it is, this weeks show. Grab it while its hot because tomorrow were on again live. Be sure to catch us 8-10pm (PST) right here on the “webcast” link.
Verrry late on this one, This show is not last weeks, but from TWO weeks ago! I was coming down with a cold on this show, and the next show I was completely sick, so it wasn’t recorded at all.
But I do have this weeks show ready to go, I’ll just let this one sink in for a day before getting this weeks up.
**UPDATE**
The playlist for this show is now up, check the link below.

Super late on this one, ha, we got a new one comin tomorrow! Thats how late it is, but you knew that huh?
Been real busy with class work and things like that, so I haven’t had much freetime to edit up the show and get it here, you’ll have to forgive me, no playlist for this show, I don’t have the time to type it up
But I do have the important part… the podcast! Get it while its still kinda warm ;)
I held it down this night, Dj Will on a lil vacation up north. A bit tired from the weekend, but it was all good, the show came out surprisingly well, as I was listening while editing it up for the site.
